Young Leaders Forum

The Young Leaders Forum (YLF), an initiative of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, is the forum for young achievers and young leaders drawn from diverse fields of business and industry, banking, advertising, media, medicine, law and so on.   

ICC recognizes the hopes, aspirations and dreams of the younger generation as well as their zeal to excel and make a difference. It is this spirit that has driven us to form the Young Leaders Forum – an exclusive forum of young achievers from different segments of society. The Young Leaders Forum aims at building confidence and leadership skills amongst its young members. It is the only organization of its kind in the eastern region, which provides the generation next, opportunities for greater social and business networking with policy makers, and experts in diverse fields.

Since its launch, YLF has organized meetings with Mr Arun Shourie, the then Minister for Disinvestment, Mr Omar Abdullah, the then Minister for External Affairs, Mr Arun Jaitley, General Secretary, BJP, Mr P Chidambaram, Finance Minister, Mr Azim Premji, Chairman WIPRO, Dr Y V Reddy, Dy. Governor, RBI, Mr Kishore Biyani, PVSM, VSM,YSM, GOC-in-C, Eastern Command and so on.

Objectives of Young Leaders Forum

Outstanding Young Achievers Award

YLF has instituted an award christened Outstanding Young Achievers Award, in recognition of path breaking contributions by Young Achievers who have made a difference to our lives.

  • The first award was on Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal, whose initiatives have made a huge contribution in the telecom sector.

  • The second award went to Mr Sabyasachi Mukherjee, leading fashion designer from West Bengal.

  • The third one went to Mr Sanjiv Goenka, leading industrialist of India.

  • The recepient of the award for the last two years are eminent film maker, Mr Karan Johar and renowned cricketer, Mr Sourav Ganguly
