Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is organizing an One-day Training Programme on “Electrical Safety” for its Member and Non-member organisation at ICC Premises on 16 March 2018.

Working with or near to a source of electricity can be extremely dangerous, making it essential for workers to have a good knowledge of how to work safely and protect themselves and others from harm. It is important to follow the same systematic approach used for other occupational health and safety issues, when dealing with electrical safety. No one could overstate the importance of Electrical Safety knowledge. It is imperative to know how to work safely with or within the vicinity of electricity because electrical current in regular businesses and homes have enough power that if exposed to, can be fatal.

This training programme will cover the major topics related to Fundamentals of Electrical Safety; Acts and Rules; Risk Assessment, Hazards Identification and their controls; safety systems etc. Please refer to the e-brochure given below for further details. This course is suitable for workers of all levels, including managers, supervisors, full-time employees and part-time staff, who are required to work on or near electricity as part of their job role.
