Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) National Women’s Entrepreneurs Committee (INWEC), Odisha is the first of its ICC National Women’s Entrepreneurship Council (INWEC) is the first of its kind Women’s Council formed by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Odisha State Council. The ICC has formed a Women’s Entrepreneurship Council to address the growing needs of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders. The Women’s Entrepreneurship council extends ICC’s core philosophy of building meaningful synergies among Industry and Government by addressing strategic issues of national significance. The Women’s Entrepreneurship Council hopes to be a proactive, progressive body with diversified membership base, a dynamic leadership team, driven to meet the new challenges of today’s world. The core objectives of the committee are Empowerment, Education, Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Business Development.
INWEC currently is nearing a 200 mark of enterprising women members varying from eminent business leaders running multi-core businesses to aspiring women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. The committee was inaugurated by Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik on 15th Jan 2020. The council is led by Ms Tanaya Patnaik ,Convenor of INWEC & Executive Director -Sambad Group and Ms Preeti Pallavi Patnaik Co-Convenor of INWEC & Director, Tushi Motors along with 12 core advisory committee members. The core team provides the transformational leadership to foster a vibrant business environment for women in the state. The INWEC National is led by Ms Sukirti Patnaik, National Chairperson, ICC National Women Entrepreneurship Council (INWEC).
